Amphenol Industrial Operations (AIO), a technology company headquartered in Connecticut, is set to establish a new manufacturing facility in Arizona by the end of 2023, focusing on solar junction boxes and connectors. This move follows the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). The facility, spanning 58,000 sq. ft. in Mesa, will also produce advanced interconnect assemblies, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and robotic technologies. AIO, listed as APH on the NYSE, serves as a key supplier to Heliene, contributing to the US solar PV modules. The new Arizona facility will bolster the domestic solar supply chain, complementing the region’s other significant solar manufacturing projects.
