It looks at pixel count (7680 x 4320), glow, tones, and a wide hue range to ensure sharp views in all light levels. The mark also looks at HDR for more depth, 8K upscaling to clean low-res clips, and great sound that syncs with the crisp views. The Premiere 8K passed all these tests, making it the first in its field to earn this top nod.
