OLED iPad Pro Could Feature M4 Chip: Apple’s First Truly AI-Powered Device

OLED IPAD PRO

Apple is all set to announce new products at the “Let Loose” event, which is scheduled for March 7. We are expecting a wide range of products to be announced, with a highlight being the new iPad Pro. This time around, we have high hopes for this device; the rumors have hinted at many exciting upgrades for the tablet, such as an OLED display. Moreover, the latest news has even suggested that the M4 chip may power the OLED iPad Pro 2024.

The big highlight for this year’s iPad Pro is expected to be the addition of OLED panels, greatly enhancing the visual experience compared to previous models. However, this might not be the only highlight. Earlier, we expected the new OLED iPad Pro to be powered by the M3 chip. Now a recent report suggests it will feature the next-gen M4 chip instead.

OLED IPAD PRO WILL FOCUS ON AI THANKS TO THE M4 CHIP

The news comes from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The insider claims that the new OLED iPad Pro will get the next-gen M4 chip. For those unaware, this chip has not been announced yet. Hence if this news comes out to be true, the iPad Pro will be the first device to get this chip. Moreover, the insider states:

I believe Apple will position the tablet as its first truly AI-powered device — and that it will tout each new product from then on as an AI device

This all hints that Apple is the next company to focus on artificial intelligence. We already saw how Samsung presented their S24 series this year; with a focus more on the GalaxyAI and how AI can benefit the users. Now it’s time we see Apple’s official entry into AI. That said, the Apple “Let Loose” event is all set to go live on May 7th.
