Helsinki, January 23, 2024 – The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) officially announced the addition of five substances of very high concern (SVHC), bringing the total number of substances on the SVHC list (also known as the Candidate List) to 240. The complete SVHC list can be accessed here.
ECHA has also updated the existing Candidate List entry for dibutyl phthalate to include its endocrine-disrupting properties for the environment. Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) was added to the SVHC Candidate List in October 2008 in the first batch.

For products exported to the European Union that contain SVHC substances exceeding 0.1%, companies are obligated to fulfill information transmission and SCIP reporting requirements. If the export volume of SVHC substances exceeding 0.1% exceeds 1 ton per year, SVHC notification must also be conducted.

شرکتونه باید په خپلو محصولاتو کې د SVHC موادو په اړه د خپلو مسؤلیتونو او مکلفیتونو څخه خبر وي:
- کله چې په یوه مقاله کې د SVHC محتوا له 0.1٪ څخه زیاته شي، نو عرضه کوونکي یې باید د مقالې ترلاسه کونکي ته د هغې د خوندي استعمال په اړه معلومات چمتو کړي؛
- د مصرف کونکي په غوښتنه، کافي معلومات، په شمول د موادو نومونه او د هغوی غلظت، باید د 45 ورځو دننه وړیا چمتو شي؛
- که چیرې د صادراتو حجم په کال کې له ۱ ټن څخه زیات وي، نو د موادو واردونکي او تولیدونکي باید د حد څخه د تیریدو نیټې څخه د ۶ میاشتو دننه ECHA ته خبرتیا بشپړه کړي؛
- د ۲۰۲۱ کال د جنوري له ۵مې نیټې څخه، د SVHC لیست څخه هغه مواد چې په مقالو کې د ۰.۱٪ څخه پورته غلظت کې شتون لري باید د ECHA د SCIP ډیټابیس ته وسپارل شي؛ او
