Vivo has just announced the international launch of its latest Vivo X Fold3 Pro. The new device is the latest addition to Vivo’s foldable smartphone series. The Vivo X Fold3 Pro shines with a super sleek design and lightweight body. Despite the appeal as a slim foldable, Vivo does not affect performance, durability, or battery capacity.
The new Vivo X Fold3 comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and has ZEISS optics for professional-level photography.
SLIM DESIGN AND DURABLE BODY
The Vivo X Fold3 Pro has a slim profile of 11.2 mm when folded and 5.2 mm unfolded. Furthermore, it weighs only 236 grams. The device features Vivo’s new Armor Architecture for all-around protection. The phone earned SGS Five-Star drop resistance certification.
The cover screen comes with Armor Glass, a microcrystal glass that increases drop resistance up to 11 times compared to deep secondary reinforced glass. The Armor Back cover features Glass Fiber and UPE fiber for heavy-duty protection.
Vivo also developed its Carbon Fiber Ultra Durable Hinge. It has been certified by TUV Rheinland for 500,000 reliable folds. The finger also allows multi-angle free hovering. You can flex the phone between 60 and 120 degrees. It offers a range of creative usage modes. The Vivo X Fold3 Pro has an IPX8 rating for water resistance.
SEMI-SOLID BATTERY
Despite the slim design, the phone does not sacrifice the battery capacity. Vivo equipped the phone with a Semi-Solid Battery with 5,700 mAh capacity. The Vivo X Fold3 Pro marks the continuity of Vivo’s partnership with ZEISS for optics. The phone features a VCS True color main camera, a ZEISS telephoto camera, and an ultra-wide-angle camera. The camera setup is powered by the custom Vivo V3 chip.
The ZEISS telephoto camera can achieve up to 3x optical zoom, and 100x digital zoom.
The phone comes with special Macro and Bokeh effects developed by ZEISS. The Vivo V3 chip ensures 30% higher energy efficiency, and the phone can record 4K cinematic portrait videos.
PERFORMANCE
Under the hood, the Vivo X Fold3 Pro carries the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. There is an Ultra-wide intelligent cooling system that integrates a super-thin vapor chamber and a multi-layer graphite with a heat dissipation area of over 20,000mm².
FOCUS ON AI
With the new smartphone, Vivo also rides on the new AI trend. The company partnered with Google to integrate powerful AI features using the Gemini models from Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform. There is an AI Note Assist service that greatly enhances the experience of writing notes or setting up reminders. The OS also brings AI global translation that can seamlessly translate content shown on the screen. Many other AI features are also present in the phone.

The Vivo X Fold3 offers a new experience with Funtouch OS. The company’s Android skin comes with a set of multi-tasking features to enjoy the foldable’s large inner screen. The offers cross-screen connectivity, and you can use drag and drop files, copy and paste content, and switch calls between PCs and smartphones. There is also a deep integration with Windows.
There are also multiple security features boosted by a built-in security chip made in collaboration with Qualcomm. The phone boasts CC EAL5+ security certification which reduces the risks of data breaches.
